As patron of CUH Charity, Irish sprint hurdler Derval O’Rourke visited Cork University Hospital for the cheque presentation of over €20,000 to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Derval was joined by Dr Dorothy Breen, an ICU consultant and some of the 163 runners who took part in the Cork City Marathon on behalf of CUH Charity’s ICU Appeal.

The group are seeking to build on this success and would like to encourage people to run, walk or jog part or all of the 2014 Cork City Marathon with them on June 2nd.
