Wear, Enjoy, Donate on Thursday 1st December
CUH Charity launched an exciting Christmas fundraising campaign today, at Bottom Drawer, Brown Thomas, Cork. The ‘Pull Up Your Christmas Socks for CUH Children’s Unit’ was initiated to raise further funds for the new Children’s Unit at Cork University Hospital.
On Thursday 1st December, you can arrange the festive fun in your workplace or your school or college, by putting on a pair of your own festive or Christmas themed socks, which you can buy locally. We suggest a donation of €2 per person, but all donations welcome. To get involved, simply, contact [email protected] or call (021) 423 4529 for more information and support the work of CUH Children’s Unit on Thursday 1st December.
CUH Charity is calling on Cork companies, schools, colleges, hotels and restaurants large and small, individuals and groups to join in the festive fun and wear their Christmas socks to help support the work of the Children’s Unit.
Miriam Forde, Head of CUH Charity said at the launch ‘We want everyone to come out in force and have lots of festive fun this Christmas, while at the same time supporting a great cause. Why not get all your colleagues, team or class together on the 1stDecember and wear and show your support for CUH!’.
CUH Charity is fundraising for parent-sleeping facilities for families and additional medical equipment for the new Unit, which when complete will be the largest Children’s Hospital outside of Dublin.
