We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to take up the role of ‘Marketing/PR/Fund Raising Assistant’, as a key element to the existing Charity Group based at Cork University Hospital.

Role Description

Title:  Marketing/Fund Raising Assistant


Hours of Work:          35 hours per week

Business Address:   Cork University Hospital, Wilton – Cork

Contract:                      6 month fixed term

 Key Attributes & Requirements:

–          Enthusiastic, focused, results driven

–          Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills  (written & verbal)

–          Ability to work to deadlines, track record of teamwork, event organising

–          Solutions provider and creative thinker

–           PR/Marketing experience 5years+

–          Excellent  Computer Skills – MS Office Suite (essential), photoshop, desktop publishing (advantageous) 

–          Methodical Work Practice Ethos & Excellent Record Keeper

–          Essential to have a working knowledge of Social Media such as Facebook and Twitter
 

 Start Date:   Immediate Start Required

 Duties to include:

 General Office Management

  • Meet & Greet visitors to the CUH Charity office
  • Answering Incoming Calls
  • General Assistance with Financial Accounting
  • Database Management

Marketing / PR / Fundraising Duties

  • Assisting PR team on various accounts with:-
    • Press analysis and media evaluation
    • Compiling/updating media lists
    • Photocall support – sourcing props, models etc/attending shoots
    • Press Release drafting and distribution
    • Attending team planning/brainstorming meetings
  • Drive Fundraising Initiatives
  • Source Volunteers
  • Assist with Fundraising events
  • Networking
