The Irish Examiner Stroke Awareness Week will run from September 5th- 11th.

As part of the awareness week, which is in association with CUH Charity and Pfizer, a special ‘Let’s Talk Stroke Awareness’ booklet (free with the Irish Examiner on September 5th) has been produced which includes information about the main causes and effects of a stroke, stroke prevention and stroke treatments and also highlights the work of the incredible staff at the Stroke Unit at CUH. This booklet will be followed up with special reports on stroke awareness and patient stories from Monday to Friday next week.
