CUH (Cork University Hospital) Charity is delighted to announce that our annual Gala Fundraising Ball will be taking place on Friday 6^th October, Fota Resort & Spa Hotel, in aid of patient care for CUH Cancer Services and the Emergency Department at Cork University Hospital.

Guests will be treated to a 5 course meal, an evening of great entertainment by the well-known Pat Fitz Band, a guest MC and an auction and raffle with items donated from prestigious venues and organisations. To date, we have raised over €90,000 from our gala ball which has directly benefited cancer patients in CUH and patients in the Neurology Unit in the hospital. We are aiming to donate proceeds from this year’s Gala Ball to the work of the Urology Unit in CUH, with some of the proceeds going towards the refurbishment of the Family Room in the Emergency Department.

As in previous years, over 300 people will attend this high-profile event. Tickets are €175 per person and €1,750 per table of 10 people. We held our first Gala Gall in 2015, which was a sell-out event and it has now become a significant not-for-profit event in the social calendar in Cork and the region.
