A big thank you to all the wonderful people who supported CUH Charity’s biggest fundraising event on October 16th for Cork Independence Day.
Hundreds of volunteers took to the streets of the city and county to sell the €2 Cork Visa on behalf of CUH Charity. All proceeds from the Visa will go towards the much-needed refurbishment of the Children’s Unit.
The event was a landmark achievement for CUH Charity and showed the strength of people power.
The day was a massive logistical operation involving the Gardaí, Cork City and County Council, the Navy, Cork Airport, Irish Rail, Bus Eireann, schools, students, doctors, nurses, members of Cork Chamber of Commerce and countless others.
The event was organised as part of Cork Rebel Week which CUH Charity was proud to have been selected as official charity partner of.
