We're having a Ball! The CUH Charity are having a Black & Bling Ball in aid of the Children's Unit €1,500,000 refurbishment fund in the Rochestown Park Hotel on Friday night the 19th of April. .
The Funk N Something group will perform their ‘Disco Burlesque’ variety show at Ruby Lounge on Washington Street on the 22nd February at 9pm. The entry fee for the evening is €5 with all proceeds going to the Cork University Hospital (CUH) Charity Children’s Appeal.
Cork born adventurer and CUH Charity patron, Dr Clare O’ Leary begins her year by launching a ‘Call to Action’ for volunteers and donations to raise €1.5m for the refurbishment of the outdated Children’s Unit at the Cork University Hospital. This is the first time the Children’s Unit has appealed to the public for funds.
