CUH Charity presents The Sensory Ball.

* Raising funds to create a Child, Aged and Sensory Friendly Hospital.

A medical environment, like CUH, can seem very intimidating for anyone. But for more vulnerable members of the community – children, older people, or people with sensory differences/ challenges – it is incredibly overwhelming and confusing, leading to stress and anxiety. We are working to create a hospital environment which is compassionate and welcoming for everyone.

We do hope you can join us and together we can achieve our goal.

Tickets are €195 per person, or €1,950 per table.

We also have a very special option to ‘Sponsor a seat’ for a healthcare worker this year. Our healthcare workers have been incredible throughout the pandemic, and we feel it’s appropriate to celebrate them at this event. With every seat sponsored, we will invite a member of the CUH & CUMH team to attend the Gala Ball.

Because you supported previous events, we were able to purchase the Ion Torrent Genexus – a lifesaving piece of equipment that analyses the DNA of a cancer specimen. The testing was taking weeks previously, and is now completed in-house, in 24hours. This is the impact you had, and it is saving lives, daily – let’s make more change happen with this incredible event in 2022.
