The Paediatric Unit in CUH is organising a fantastic ‘Strictly CUH’ fundraising dance extravaganza, which promises to be a magical night of dancing, music and plenty of entertainment along the way! Staff representatives across all departments of the hospital will dance on the night and will be volunteering their time rehearsing and perfecting their routines in the weeks running up to making their debut appearance on the stage of Cork Opera House! At least 15 couples and 30 Group dancers will take to the stage to showcase their Cha Cha, Jive, Mambo, Rock & Rol, Swing, Rumba and Tango steps to name but a few!

Join us for what will be a hugely enjoyable event while at the same time raising vital funds to support the great work of the Children’s Unit at CUH. Proceeds will go towards purchasing essential pieces of equipment for the Children’s Unit, including parent sleeping facilities, lie-flat and pull-down beds, new sensory room equipment and toys for children with physical and intellectual disability, medical grade cots and respiratory equipment. Please support all the dancers in their fundraising efforts and of course, please come out on the night and purchase your tickets for your family, friends, work colleagues and department! Tickets are €30. You can even make this event on Friday, 18th November your most memorable Christmas Staff Party night! Remember, your support will make a huge difference to our work.

‘Strictly CUH’ will be sure to sell out fast, with interest in tickets building already! If you’re dancing please make sure you have your allocation of tickets arranged for friends and family sooner rather than later!
