The CUH Charity has launched an appeal to refurbish and maintain the hydrotherapy pool in the CUH Physiotherapy Department.

We need your support to raise €80,000 to ensure the pool is reliable and meets the functional standards needed to help our Orthopaedic, Rheumatology, and Neurology patients.

The hydrotherapy pool in CUH is the only one the HSE has to serve patients in the Munster region. It was built in the 1970’s and at present it is susceptible to closure due to leaks, problems with the chlorine levels, and water temperature. The pool closed for over 2 years from mid 2011 – mid 2013.

It is hoped that through this appeal that funds will be raised to refurbish the hydrotherapy pool providing patients with the care and support they need.
