Charity of the year

Is your company looking for a Charity of the Year partner?  CUH Charity would love to be considered and would be passionate about making it your best Charity of the Year partnership yet.

By partnering with us you will have a huge impact on the lives of patients attending Cork University Hospital. We’ll work with you to identify which funding opportunities are the best fit for you – be it a specific department, a new piece of life-saving equipment or a particular service.

We’ll work with you to develop a bespoke programme of exciting fundraising and volunteering events that will inspire and engage your staff and customers.

By pairing up with Cork University Hospital Charity, you can enhance your company’s profile, create team spirit amongst staff and most importantly improve the facilities on offer to CUH patients and visitors.

Make a corporate donation

Making a major corporate donation, offers you the opportunity to fund a specific element of the work taking place within Cork University Hospital. These types of exceptional gifts, of €5,000 or more, have a transformative impact on the care Cork University Hospital can offer to the 1.5 million people living within its catchment

If you’d like to discuss making a corporate donation, or where the most urgent needs are currently within the hospital, please contact Miriam on (021) 423 4529 or email her at miriam@cuhcharity.ie.

Sponsor an event

Here at the CUH Charity we can provide companies with a variety of opportunities to sponsor events. These events are a fantastic way to support our cause and also help to enhance your own brand awareness.

Corporate fundraising events play a key role in fundraising and will have a major impact on the fundraising efforts of CUH Charity who are determined to improve the equipment and services available to patients of Cork University Hospital.

To find out more about current sponsorship opportunities, please contact Miriam on (021) 423 4529 or email her at miriam@cuhcharity.ie.

Staff fundraising

Why not get your staff and colleagues to help you raise much needed funds for Cork University Hospital? It could be as simple or as creative as you like – from coffee mornings to zany dress days check out our A-Z Fundraising Ideas page for inspiration.

Participation and contribution can take many forms and if your company takes part in ‘staff volunteer days’ then we here at the CUH Charity would love to join forces and make the most of the experience. We welcome volunteers for events with open arms and we would be delighted if you or your company would like to get involved.  A charity event can be a great team building activity and a fantastic way for you and your colleagues to bond.

If you wish to organise an event or get involved in an existing event, then we would love to hear from you.

Payroll giving

This involves your staff donating an agreed amount regularly through their salary. The donation is deducted through the payroll department and forwarded to us on a regular basis. This is a very simple way to make a donation at very little or no cost to the company.

Matched funding

Boost morale and encourage employee fundraising and team building by doubling the impact of their efforts. When employees donate, or raise a certain amount of money, you can pledge to match it.

You can set a threshold, for example, matching it to an agreed amount such as €500. And if your company donates €250 or more it will be eligible for tax relief.
